Comprehensive Gyne Services in Cork

We provide gynaecology (gyne) services complementing our obstetric services. Women are seen for contraceptive advice and basic fertility assessment. Consultant gynaecologist Dr. McKenna in Cork has special expertise in placement and removal of intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD or Mirena).

We are able to offer care for the full range of gynaecological problems including problematic periods (too many, too few, too painful), pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome and troublesome vaginal discharge.
